• AIR Span Neoprene - Combines extra stretch and durability, AIR Span has a closed cell structure designed to promote warmth and is anatomically placed to provide unrestricted movement.
• DURA Span Neoprene - Located in higher wear areas, DURA Span is strong and warm.

Construction...

• 3 times glued and blind stitched - To prevent leaking stitching holes, this stitching method penetrates only half of the neoprene thickness, giving a flat and waterproof seam.

• Sandwich Neck Closure: All neck flap Velcro is covered completely with soft neoprene. The neck closure will always feel soft and comfortable during body movement.
• Blind zip: the zipper is locked up as much as possible on the inside of the back panel. This results in less water penetrating the zipper and less heat loss due to a chilled surface around the zipper.
• Backup Shield - An extra neoprene layer behind the zipper. If water penetrates the suit, the Back Up will guide it out through the water outlet hole.

What is a steamer wetsuit?

A 'Steamer' is a wetsuit with sealed seams, usually achieved by blind stitching. This stops the majority of cold water from re-entering the suit once your body has initially heated it up. Winter wetsuits are usually steamers with 5mm neoprene body and legs for warmth, combined with 3mm neoprene arms for manoeuvrability.
