Looking at todays huge line up of kiteboards, there has been a distinct drop off of boards in production today with strong rockers. and as a result many feel remakably similar

Board designers seem to be fascinated with building boards with flat rocker lines..

Well here’s a somewhat old skool shape, with a delightful continuous strong rocker running throughout the whole board from the centre to the tips.

And man you can feel the benefits, like all Blankforce boards they seem to have a unique ability to melt into the hands of any rider. The only boards I have ever got on and instantly felt at home with, and many customers seem to have equally merged instantly with the board.

I had a short blast on the Advisory board in flat to chop. The shape is amazing, like a big banana, and as a result it has remarkable handling, it reacts to tiny little corrections from the rider. Very sure footed and control is outstanding, more so than pretty much anything I have ridden. As a result the board is centred more on control than speed, but it’s not slow!

Loading up is just so easy, thanks to the continuous aggressive rocker which encourages effortless controlled pop with no drama, and even though it’s a performance specific board, I would feel happy recommending it to a rider who is attempting to develop his riding style into something more exciting and learning the whole “pop” thing.

Despite being so controllable, it’s by no means locked in, almost skatey. But not un stable, a trait all too familiar on freestyle boards with flatter rocker lines. It can be ridden out of the plain so easily, so dedicated freestylers will love it.. coming in a little squ-iff from a hot landing or riding blind

Graphics are some of the better looking I’ve seen, the carbon underlay is stunning, and when the suns hits the weave it makes the board look like it costs twice the price.

 Another great ride from such a relatively new brand, that has grown solely on word of mouth and not marketing. A rare occurrence in to days fickle market.
