The Pro X 2011 is the legendary freestyle board that has been ridden by some of the best riders in the world. Youri Zoon, Ruben Lenten and Nick Jacobsen all ride or have ridden this kiteboard, It’s quite a focussed deck this, and wont suit everyone but for high wind and powerful riders its absolutely fabulous. We have found that it really excels in the high wind range. Its round tips work great in swell. Pop is great in stronger winds. The deck comes with a wood core with unparalelled feedback and responsiveness. It also features carbon Kevlar cross strings which give the board even more “wang” and load up potential. Outrageous pop and control in high winds. The deck can hold down a huge amount of power thanks to its short wide outline. The flat rocker contributes to its focussed speed and early planing. It also includes flip tips making fast riding more controllable in chop and waves. This is one of our favourite kiteboards and one that all powerful riders should consider. It rides on the edge of control better than any board we have ridden, and the boosting capabilities are frankly insane. The only changes this year is to the concave bottom which has been revised slightly for great overall speed
